Product Application of POTASSIUM TITANATE CAS#12030-97-6

Potassium titanate is widely used in the welding electrode industry as a flux and analytical reagent. It is suitable for the production of low-hydrogen welding electrodes, AC and DC welding electrodes, and stainless steel welding electrodes.

It can also be used in thermal insulation materials, electrical insulation materials, catalyst carriers, and filtration materials. In friction materials, potassium titanate offers significant advantages over asbestos, reducing friction force by approximately 50% and wear by around 32%. Therefore, it is suitable for use in brake linings, clutches, and other friction-related applications.

After surface treatment with Sb/SnO₂ to impart conductivity, potassium titanate can be used as a conductive material or combined with plastics to produce conductive composite materials. In addition, it can serve as an ion-exchange material and an adsorbent.
