Products Description of Thiabendazole CAS#148-79-8
Thiabendazole, also known by names such as Teketol and other related names, is a highly effective broad-spectrum fungicide widely used worldwide. It exhibits systemic apical conductivity but does not transport to the base of plants. With long-lasting protective effects, Thiabendazole shows cross-resistance with benzimidazole fungicides.
It has inhibitory activity against various fungal groups, including Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, and Deuteromycetes. Thiabendazole is widely applied for the prevention and control of fungal diseases in crops, as well as for the preservation of fruits and vegetables.

Product Application of Thiabendazole CAS#148-79-8
Thiabendazole is a high-efficiency, broad-spectrum, and long-lasting systemic fungicide. When applied to plant roots, it can be transported upward to the top of the plant but does not move downward to the base. It can also be applied as a foliar spray, with a recommended application rate of 2.25–3.75 g active ingredient/hm².
Thiabendazole is effective in controlling various fungal diseases and root rot in crops, providing both preventive and therapeutic effects. It is also widely used for controlling storage diseases of fruits, including citrus, apples, pears, and bananas. For post-harvest treatment, it is typically applied as a solution at concentrations of 500–1000 mg/L or 700–1500 mg/L depending on the fruit type.
Thiabendazole is recognized as a highly efficient, broad-spectrum fungicide with extensive international applications.
