Product Application of Direct Red 23 CAS#3441-14-3
Direct Red 23 is primarily used for dyeing and printing cotton, viscose, linen, and other textile fibers. It can also be applied in the coloration of silk, wool, paper, and leather, as well as in the preparation of lake pigments.
This dye can be used independently to produce scarlet and madder red shades (yellowish red tones), or combined with yellow, orange, red, brown, and other dyes for color blending to achieve different shades. After dyeing, the fabric can be finished with urea-formaldehyde resin or treated with Fixing Agent Y, while maintaining the original color base. When treated with Fixing Agent M, the color shade will shift noticeably toward blue.
